I’m watching Hunter x Hunter for the first time and wow! Gon has 0.3% self preservation but can take enough direct hits without dying that the people attacking him end up forming a reverse Stockholm syndrome bond (wholesome). You break his arm or hit him in the face and suddenly he’s a brother or son to you. In the end, your resolve is the thing that is broken, and I think that’s beautiful

Hiso had no idea what he signed up for when he married Illu. This scene exists in my Catfish universe (on Ao3), where I HC Illu as a metalhead and a talented player of speed mental in his spare time (if there ever is any). The two have just gotten married here, and Illumi is showing Hisoka his bedroom for the very first time. When Hisoka said "show me your bedroom," Illumi took it a bit too literally.

Expect more comics with these two because I had a lot of fun making this!

I love the difference of Illumi disguised as Hisoka sitting so close to the action but very much minding his business meanwhile Hisoka minds his business but as far away as possible from everyone else. even when disguised, little bits and pieces from their personalities separate them greatly. just like illumi sat at the front and hisoka at the back in the hunter exam :')

gonna be honest for a second... when i first started watching hxh i was NOT prepared, like all i knew about it was that everyone loved killua and shipped him with gon and there was some freaky ass clown that some people simped over. what i did NOT know was that kurapika is a bloodthirsty little guy who can and WILL beat the shit out of you like holy shit- AND i didnt know that there was a heartwrenching story between a practical ANT and an adorable girl with his jealous guard trynna break them up.
